- Animal Lover at Heart: Lives with two beloved dogs—Sir Isaac Newton (a black Lab) and Chocolate Sundae (an Australian Shepherd). Past pets include chickens, rabbits, cockatiels, lizards, hamsters, horses and cats. Someday, she dreams of living on a small farm with horses.
- Hospitality Roots: Rebranded her grandfather’s hotel from the Flamingo Inn to the Creekside Inn and led major capital improvements before the hotel was sold in 1999.
- Fragrance-Focused Gardener: Designed her garden around scent—featuring banana shrub (Michelia figo), jasmine, wisteria, daphne, fragrant roses, and citrus trees including lemon, Kishu mandarin, and Cara Cara orange.
