They did an over-the-top superb job in handling the sale of my house a couple years ago and I had a clean offer over the asking price before it officially went on the market.
Needless to say, when it was time for me to sell a condominium I inherited and had been a rental for quite a number of years, who else would I consider? I just had no idea how much harder it is to sell a property in a condominium association, especially when you want to update it. They hung in there through so much red tape and working with the condominium association (and they handled this, not me) and we were not even looking to do structural changes. I could never have handled all this and had the right contractors and inspectors lined up.
I gave them 5 stars on my home sale review because it was so easy for me. This one was much harder (which I wasn’t expecting) but they hung in there, dealt with so many challenges and got it sold.
Their communication is clear and timely and I recommend them unequivocally. They did great on my house and put in their experience and effort to result in a successful sale of my condominium.

For a house that I intended to purchase, the Redfin agent suggested that the fair value of a house was some X, I was to make a non contingent offer at X -30k. Neither did the Redfin agent visit the house nor did he even talk to the seller to find out a number in their mind. Exasperated, I texted Lynn at 10 pm introducing myself, and asking to talk to her. Lynn and I spoke that night and right next morning she dropped all her work to visit this house. Remember she knew me just the previous night and offers being due in a couple of days, I could have continued with Redfin. She offered her view that the enclosed patio space was right next to a bedroom and that such a configuration was not only difficult to live in but also difficult to sell in the market when time came to sell the house. These are exactly the insights we needed from a buying agent. Lynn is an agent definitely on your team – not just by words but by action.
The house that Lynn helped me purchase also had a similar story. We ended up getting the house for substantially less than the Redfin comp estimate. Lynn has vast experience and a high degree of professionalism that was respected by the seller realtor and the lender. She did a buyer’s inspection that Redfin would not deign to do. She also negotiated for us wherever there was leeway. Lynn met with me repeatedly at the house and made measurements of whether appliances would fit – showed us things we had missed during the open house. She was also very timely in returning my calls, addressing my concerns and lack of knowledge in some areas of house buying. Her recommendations – contractors and inspectors are not only good at what they do, they respect Lynn a lot. This might seem like high praise but when handling the biggest transaction of your lifetime, how can you ask for anything less?
Lynn was also present at the closing in case we needed help and constantly communicated to the seller to keep them in the loop. Thorough, professional and courteous – I am already recommending her to my friends and co-workers.

We first met Lynn when Kurt (who is deeply analytical) surveyed all our regional agents to find the best person to sell our house in Redwood City. Kurt visited more than 25 open houses to find the agent who was able to elevate an ordinary house to extraordinary, and who seemed to take a very personal interesting topping out the sale price (on both a personal and financial basis). Lynn rose to the top. That was six years ago. We sold our house to Lynn, and got 5% above asking price in a down market (2010) after she was through with it.
Fast forward to 2016. We live in a beautiful home in the heart of one of the premier neighborhoods in Los Altos. Lynn helped us purchase the house at 10% under asking in 2010. We made some well-placed investments, and six years later it has increased in value by 70-80%, thanks to the appreciation of the market. (We can’t credit Lynn for that, of course!) When we decided to move our family out of state earlier this year, our first thought was, “Hooray, we get to work with Lynn again!” We have not been disappointed.
In her usual high-energy fashion, Lynn quickly determined what upgrades would bring us the best ROI on our home sale, and worked tirelessly with her hand-picked team of contractors and designers to get the work done with minimal impact to our family. She consulted with us regularly, but handled the nitty-gritty details that would have given us headaches and heartburn. We always had the final say in the decision, but Lynn’s judgment is so incredibly spot-on when it comes to preparing and marketing a property for sale that we trust her completely.
When the work was complete on our house, Lynn ensured that the marketing push would be comprehensive. She even had flyers printed in Mandarin to appeal to buyers from China! Photos and video were top notch; the online listing was compelling; and open houses were managed with meticulous attention to detail. In the end, we received multiple offers over our asking price, and Lynn skillfully negotiated with competing parties to secure a final offer significantly over asking.
If you’re thinking that this sounds too good to be sure, and asking yourself why any realtor would do so much more than is typical, it’s because Lynn loves her work – you can just tell. She is very competitive, but in the most positive way possible. She loves the challenge of getting the best outcome for her clients, and she is tireless in her pursuit of that outcome. After both my parents the original trustees passed away within a year of each other fairly recently, I became the executor-trustee. Living here in Honolulu, Hawaii, it was imperative to find and retain a “local” realtor I could depend upon completely to competently, efficiently and honestly handle most everything necessary for a successful older home sale there across the Pacific.
Lynn was just the right person for the job; with the contractors, workers, and/or others she manages expertly, and the economically sound purchases of various items needed, she turned a somewhat rundown, largely neglected and unkept older home last occupied by my older parents, into a very appealing mostly contemporary appearing home. She did extensive remodeling, replacement, repair, landscaping, while cleverly transforming dated features not easily changed into quirky modern ones.
